The problem: The surface was dirty but did not require drum sanding to achieve a hygienic, non-slip surface.

The work completed: To remove ingrained dirt and rubber heel marks from a sports sprung floor and apply specialist seal protection.

Our Customer: White Oak Leisure Centre, Swanley, Kent.

The problem: The client required a total of 5 leisure centre sports’ halls to be refurbished as the surfaces showed signs of wear and fading court markings. All centres needed to be completed within a strict timetable to avoid excessive shutdown.

The work completed: To remove ingrained dirt and rubber marks from approximately 1000m2 of Granwood floor, re-instate games lines including badminton, 5-a-side football, basketball and volleyball courts and apply Granguard seal protection. Roger Hyde Ltd planned and managed the works within budget and timescales.

The problem: The wood surface had been previously over sanded and did not have much life left. Through careful preparation and the application of a hard polyurethane seal, replacement could be postponed.

The work completed: Machine clean and reseal a multi-function wood floor to withstand heavy use.

The problem: The Granwood floor required refurbishment with the rest of the centre. The surface was patchy in appearance and worn to the tile in areas.

The work completed: The surface required deep cleaning and two thick coats of Granguard seal to ensure adequate protection.
