Our Customer: Coopers Company and Coborn School, Essex
The problem: Tennis courts starting to fret and tree root damage visible
The work completed: The courts received protection through the installation of a tree root barrier and an incredibly strong Weatherseal binder was applied to the surface. Fencing repairs were completed as part of the project. The courts were re-marked for tennis and netball with new sockets and posts supplied and installed.
In their words: “The top two tennis courts were in a very poor state of repair, having been built at around the same time as the rest of the school, some 35 years ago. Moreover, a number of trees were growing immediately adjacent to the courts and their roots were starting to break through the surface in various areas. After some consideration, it was decided that the job should be placed with Roger Hyde Limited. The Roger Hyde Limited team arrived on time and were a pleasure to work with. They caused no disruption and undertook the task in a most professional manner given that this was not a straightforward resurfacing. The skill and speed that were shown in the process brought praise from the proprietors of other building firms doing jobs in and around the School. The final result was excellent and has brought many compliments both from those within the School and visitors.
Six months on, I'm glad to say the courts still look like new and play as well as ever. I would have no hesitation in recommending Roger Hyde Limited for any similar type of work.”
