Through our experience, knowledge and a range of equipment we provide:

Protective maintenance:

For multi-function rooms such as church halls, village halls, community centres and school main halls, a protective maintenance solution which cleans and protects in a single application is highly effective in making the floor look good all year round and postpones future refurbishment.

The Floorsave Glaze System employs a method of bonding using a specially adapted low-torque machine, which is pushed effortlessly in one direction, rather than side to side. This makes it simple and quick to use. If you prefer an easy maintenance system, allowing you to protect 100 square metres in only 12 minutes, then the Floorsave Glaze System is an ideal option.

Cleaning maintenance:

Where there is sports activity, or if an area is used primarily for dining, then the removal of either body fats or food oils is essential. Although many cleaning staff continue to use mopping, this is only 30% effective. A much quicker and more efficient cleaning method is incorporating the right scrubber drier for you and your area.

  • Scrubber driers are ideal for small areas such as changing rooms and kitchens to large sports halls and manufacturing plants.
  • Fine filter vacuums for small debris.
  • Controlled steam and vacuum – no chemicals, eliminates bacteria and provides instantly dry surfaces for all large, small and awkward areas in changing rooms and kitchens.

We also advise and supply a range of anti-slip solutions and matting stopping dirt, moisture and abrasive substances from damaging your floor.

Maintenance service and contracts

Do you want us to provide advice, clean and monitor your floor for you?

We have been approached by a growing number of clients who want a simple, managed maintenance agreement to ensure their village hall, church or sports surfaces are clean, slip resistant, and are regularly monitored for wear to ensure that the surface (and their investment) are protected.

We now provide three flexible options of managed service level agreements depending on the needs of your surface and how it is used. Each separate agreement is specific to each floor , depending on how it should be cleaned, how it is used, its condition and its anticipated wear.

Each agreement includes regular visits to measure:

  • Floor moisture levels to monitor potential structural or cleaning issues.
  • Slip resistance measurements to BS5395 to ensure the co-efficient of friction is monitored and kept at its highest levels.
  • The sealant depth is also measured in microns. This provides an indicator to wear, allowing regular checks on usage and maintenance to ensure the surface is protected, postponing potentially expensive sanding preparation.

During these visits, staff training in floor cleaning is offered at no charge. A management report is then sent to you summarising the findings, with recommendations. In addition, any unusual or unexpected flooring issues are identified in their earliest stages which will therefore minimise unwelcome surprises.

The provision of a deep clean surface preparation, including rotary abrading and application of the highest quality seal, is scheduled and included in the cost of the service level agreement.

The agreement is payable on either a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. You choose which is best for your organisation.

The agreement includes preventative maintenance or seal application and is completed within the contract period. At the end of this period, the contract will automatically renew unless notification of termination in writing is received 3 months prior to the start of the new contract. A reminder will be sent to the nominated contact.

By entering into the service level agreement:

  • It ensures the correct work is done.
  • The protection of the floor is addressed.
  • Longevity of the floor is maximised.
  • The highest performance is attained and slip resistance constantly monitored and maximised.

If wood and Granwood floors are ignored they will wear more rapidly and therefore sanding becomes more likely. This is more expensive, as it is specialist work. Downtime is also greater, which obviously affects revenue and profitability. If the surface is not regularly monitored the floor performance decreases more rapidly in-between maintenance visits.

Our regular maintenance service ensures your wood floor is cleaned and protected to the manufacturer’s recommendations. This is especially important for oiled flooring.
